One80 Place aligns with my personal philosophy that no one should be without a home, and I’m proud to serve on the 2022 Advancement Committee to help the organization achieve their vision to end and prevent homelessness. 

Last year, One80 Place helped move 945 people into affordable housing, served 95,000 community meals, prevented homelessness for 482 individuals and families, and re-housed 488 veterans- all while enriching the lives of those staying in the Shelter by providing immediate access to medical care and legal services, meals and living essentials, and employment preparation and training! These initiatives are supported in part by the success of the annual Turkey & A $20 fundraising event, which is scheduled for November 22nd, 2022.

This year, One80 Place is fund-“raising” the bar, and hopes to raise $75k and 180 $20 grocery store gift cards. I am matching the organization’s commitment to our vision and have set a high fundraising goal for myself as well! Every dollar collected will go directly to support the community kitchen, which will produce over 16,000 meals and rescue over 32,000 pounds of food this holiday season!
